BRASS Workshop 2008

Info sheet and Enrolment

Dear Parents and Students,

In past years I have organized many Lessons, Workshops, Master Classes, and Band Camps. I would like to now offer all Brass players an exciting opportunity to extend their musicianship and understanding the best techniques in playing within a Brass section. Also there will be different styles such as classical, jazz, and learning to work together in a balanced environment. Depending on numbers I may have a second tutor who will help me run event to the fullest potential of all players that attend. The cost will be between $20 -$25 depending on numbers.

Once you have informed me of your attendance I can confirm email cost.

The running sheet guide for event. this is obviously movable and dependant on how well everything goes ie we may need to have more breaks and shorter rehearsals.

Things to bring:

Instrument, Music, Music Stand, Pencil, Morning Tea & Lunch.

List of Music

Basic riffs and soloing, Warm up Hymns and Chorales, Various easy traditional tunes and classics, Movie Favorites, Film Favorites and more.

Please email attendance note to me or return attendance note ASAP to ensure we can make a quick discussion on cost and whether numbers are sufficient to proceed with event.

Lastly for those who attend day this will be a very productive and memorable. Overall this day is a wonderful experience for all who attend. The concert will be held after rehearsals and all families are invited to come along and see what has been achieved over the day. Let’s say you will be blown away!!!!!
